The Louisiana Assessor’s Association recently named Livingston Parish Assessor Jeff Taylor as the “2021 Assessor of the Year.” The distinguished award recognizes one assessor each year for outstanding service to the profession and the greater community.

The Livingston Parish Assessor’s Office is attempting to work with businesses in Livingston Parish that have been hurt by COVID-19. This has been a tough year for everyone and businesses have been impacted inordinately, so our office is doing what is within our power to provide relief.
Livingston Parish Assessor’s Office Shows Support For Remy Hidalgo
Livingston Parish Assessor, Jeff Taylor and his office staff wore shirts to honor the life of Denham Springs High School student Remy Hidalgo. This young man, a player for the DSHS Football program, passed away after collapsing at practice. The shirts were worn as part of a fundraiser for the Hidalgo family. We wanted to not only show our support for the family, but also raise money to help them in this horrible time.
